What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed three people at US Hwy 281 in San Antonio, TX on November 22nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened before 5 a.m. Investigators say a vehicle with three occupants was rear-ended by a second vehicle, pushing it into oncoming traffic and causing it to collide with another vehicle. Authorities say following the collision, the driver of the suspect vehicle allegedly fled the scene on-foot before later being located and arrested. Three occupants of the vehicle that was rear-ended, identified as 61-year-old Juan Pablo Salas, 25-year-old Leslie Salas and 22-year-old Yareli Salas, were fatally injured. The driver of the third vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
