Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 672 in Caldwell County, TX on October 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by a 58-year-old Dallas man was headed northbound on FM 672 as a Ford F-150 operated by 39-year-old Julian Ruiz Mendoza was headed southbound. At some point, the Tahoe is said to have veered into a southbound lane for unknown reasons before colliding head-on with the Ford. Mendoza suffered serious injuries in the collision while the Dallas man was uninjured.
