Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a man at FM 1854 in Caldwell County, TX on February 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:16 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 44-year-old Julio Aviles Bravo was headed southwest on FM 1854 at an alleged unsafe speed when it lost control and veered from the road. It then struck a barbed wire fence before coming to rest. Police say Bravo left the scene without reporting the crash and indicated he suffered serious injuries in the accident. They also allege that alcohol intoxication played a factor in the accident.
