Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run accident at Blackpool Ln in Harris County, TX on March 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:02 a.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck, believed to be a Ford F-150, was southbound on Blackpool Ln prior to colliding with a pedestrian. Reports allege the vehicle reversed and came to a stop, the driver allegedly existing vehicle briefly before re-entering the vehicle and fleeing the scene. The pedestrian, identified as 48-year-old Julio Mejia Espinales, was fatally injured in the incident. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
