What Happened

Arlington Police identified the people killed in a crash at State Hwy 360 in Arlington, TX on October 16th, 2021. They say it happened just before 7:30 a.m. A vehicle is believed to have suffered mechanical trouble, causing it to become disabled in a lane of travel. A second vehicle was parked behind the first vehicle and police believe the driver was helping the driver of the disabled vehicle as an SUV approached. The SUV collided with the rear of one of the vehicles, pushing it into the second. 28-year0old Justin Dike and 28-year-old Alexuis Mills were both killed, Dike at the scene and Mills from her injuries later at an area hospital. Mills was also seven months pregnant and traveling with a newborn child who also died. The SUV driver, 31-year-old Adan Hermosillo Garcia is said to have ran from the scene but was later located and faces charges including Intoxication Manslaughter and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
