Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at US 87 in Howard County, TX on September 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:41 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 62-year-old Big Spring man failed to yield at an intersection. This led to a Ford Explorer operated by 60-year-old Karen McMannis colliding with the truck, causing her to suffer serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured and cited for Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection.
