What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at Loop 1604 in San Antonio, TX on August 11th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:46 a.m. A Dodge Dart operated by 20-year-old Katherine Lalli was headed westbound on Loop 1604 when it veered from the road into a grass median. It travelled around 200 feet before crashing into a TXDOT alert board. Lalli was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. It was determined that she may have been intoxicated and was charged with DWI.
