What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 77 in Waxahachie, TX on August 11th, 2024.  Police say the incident happened around 2:40 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti QX60 is alleged to have turned from an incorrect lane, entering into the path of a Kia Rio in an adjacent lane. The vehicles collided and the impact is said to have seriously injured 20-year-old Kia operator, Kaylee Gill. Reports say the other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured.
