Area authorities have information on a collision that injured two people at US 62 in Terry County, TX on December 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:09 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 29-year-old Jasper man was reportedly attempting to turn westbound out of private drive and blocked travel lanes during the turn. An approaching GMC Canyon operated by 65-year-old Ken Hournbuckle collided with the side of the truck, causing both he and his 46-year-old female passenger minor injuries. The Jasper man was uninjured and records indicate he was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way-Private Drive.
