Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 350 in Polk County, TX on January 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:10 p.m. A Dodge Dakota operated by 71-year-old Kenneth Merel Turbeville was headed southbound on FM 350 behind a tractor-trailer that began to make a right turn. Investigators say the Dodge failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the tractor-trailer, causing Turbeville serious injuries. The truck driver was uninjured. Records indicate both drivers were issued charges, Turbeville for Failure to Control Speed and the other driver for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
