Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 2020 in Ector County, TX on August 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:27 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Yukon is accused of evading police before running a red traffic light and colliding with a Buick Envision at the Redondo Ave intersection. Police say the operator of the Buick, identified as 26-year-old Kevin Hernandez, suffered serious injuries. The other driver had less serious injuries, according to officials. Sources indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the GMC.
