Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 69 in Jefferson County, TX on June 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:08 a.m. According to investigators, an Audi A6 headed southbound is said to have lost control as its operator allegedly attempted to retrieve a lit cigarette. The vehicle is said to have collided with a Jeep Cherokee in the process. Reports say the driver of the Jeep, identified as 59-year-old Kimberly Jenkins, was seriously injured.
