What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 2500 in Lubbock County, TX on April 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Equinox  was southbound before allegedly veering across a northbound lane into an east ditch. From there, the vehicle struck a chain line fence before hitting a stack of firewood at a private property. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 26-year-old Kiyanna Hightower, was seriously injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
