What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  I-10 in Chambers County, TX on February 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:47 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 49-year-old Westlake, LA man was headed eastbound on I-10 when it attempted to change lanes from the center lane to an outside lane. Police say in the process, the truck struck an Infiniti Q50 operated by 48-year-old Lajuan Antoinette Landry, causing her minor injuries. The Westlake mane was not injured and records indicate a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge was issued.
