What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 455 in Denton, TX on September 25th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 1:28 p.m. A Ford F-550 operated by a 20-year-old Dallas man was turning left on Massey Drive when an approaching motorcycle approached. The motorcycle, operated by 60-year-old Larry Brown applied the brakes to avoid a collision and fishtailed before losing control and colliding with the right side of the truck. Investigators believe the Ford truck failed to yield right of way during the turn, which caused fatal injuries to Brown. Records show charges for Failure to Yield Row and Improper Driver License charges were recommended and/or issued.
