What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX on December 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:50 p.m. Investigators say a vehicle was exiting Loop 410 prior to losing control for unclear reasons. Reports say the vehicle collided with a highway barrier and a second vehicle. The first vehicle is also said to have struck a gate in a parking lot as well as a nearby building. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Latrevious Reed, required emergency extrication from the vehicle. Once free, reports say Reed passed away from his injuries at the scene. His passenger, an adult woman in her 20's, was hospitalized with injuries believed to be minor in nature. The driver of the second vehicle involved was allegedly uninjured, sources say.
