What Happened

Dallas County Sheriff's office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-35 and Colorado Blvd in Dallas, TX on February 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. Initial investigating suggests that Mazda CX-5 headed the wrong direction collided head-on with a Chevrolet Impala. Both drivers were taken to a hospital for treatment where the  32-year-old man driving the Mazda, identified as Wilmer Funtes Ulloa, later died. The  39-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Chevrolet, Leeann Shaw, was seriously injured but in stable condition. Additional details were not available.
