What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at TX 105 in Liberty County, TX on July 17th, 2021. Police say it happened around 5:13 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 25-year-old Stockton, AL man is said to have been reversing on County Rd 2069 in order to turn around onto TX 105. As it did so, the truck was blocking travel lanes, leading to a Ford F-150 operated by 64-year-old Leo Yxta colliding with the truck. Yxta suffered serious injuries. The Stockton man was not injured.
