Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured State Hwy 62 in Mauriceville, TX on June 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:34 p.m. A Nissan Sentra operated by a 24-year-old Houston man reportedly failed to yield while exiting a private driveway and crashed into a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 25-year-old Levy Ramirez Quiroz. Quiroz suffered serious injuries in the collision. Police issued Failure to Stop and Render Aid, Driving While Intoxicated, No Driver's License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility charges.
