What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at FM 1925 in Hidalgo County, TX on April 26th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:52 p.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler 200 headed westbound is alleged to have failed to yield while turning left, colliding with a Lincoln MKS. The impact is said to have caused the Lincoln to travel into westbound lanes, striking a Cadillac XTS, causing the Cadillac to overturn into a ditch. Reports indicate the driver of the Cadillac, identified as 32-year-old Liana Coleman, was seriously injured. An 11-year-old passenger had non-life-threatening injuries. A 21-year-old passenger in the Lincoln was seriously injured while a 22-year-old passenger had non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the Chrysler were allegedly uninjured and sources indicate the driver of the Chrysler was cited for Failure to Yield.
