Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a person at I-20 in Mitchell County, TX on December 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 48-year-old Livingston man was headed eastbound on I-20 in a left travel lane. A motorcycle operated by 18-year-old Logan Mark Duhon was also headed east and allegedly attempted to pass the tractor-trailer on the left at a high rate of speed. Investigators believe the bike lost control and collided with the truck and went airborne before landing into a barrow ditch. Duhon suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The Livingston man was not injured. Additional information was not available.
