What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 289 in Wharton County, TX on June 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:44 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 33-year-old Sealy man was pulling out of  driveway when it failed to yield and struck a Ford Explorer operated by 45-year-old Ma Del Carmen Zarazua Landero. The vehicle then spun into a ditch, causing Landero minor injuries. The other driver was not injured.
