What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Hwy 287 in Clay County, TX on September 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:40 p.m. An SUV reportedly lost control and crashed into a concrete curb in a center median before overturning multiple times. All four occupants were ejected and hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver, 34-year-old Mack Lafaele, died from his injuries.
