Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at Cedar Grove Rd and Telephone Rd in Sabine County, TX on July 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Polaris Ranger operated by a 22-year-old Hemphill man was headed eastbound on Cedar Grove Rd when it veered from the road into an embankment before overturning and partially ejecting an 18-year-old passenger. The passenger suffered serious injuries. The driver, according to reports, was not injured. Reports show an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued.
