Authorities have information on a crash that injured a man at Col Rowe Blvd and Warbler Ave in McAllen, TX on May 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:23 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 was northbound before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding the rear of a Toyota Camry. Following the collision, reports say the Ford veered from the road into wooden light pole and an additional concrete light pole, ejecting the driver of the vehicle. That driver, a 36-year-old Edinburg man who was not publicly identified, was allegedly seriously injured. Sources also allege the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The occupants of the Toyota were both allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
