Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 2719 in Hill County, TX on November 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12 a.m. A Volkswagen Jetta operated by a 37-year-old Rio Vista man is said to have been headed westbound on FM 2719 as it approached a curve in the road. Investigators say the vehicle continued straight and veered from the road, vaulting through a metal fence and overturning once it landed. The man, who investigators allege may have been drinking, was seriously injured in a crash.
