What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured a man at FM 455 in Anna, TX on January 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:12 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 39-year-old Fairview man was headed westbound on FM 455 as it approached the intersection with County Rd 286. The truck was in the process of performing a u-turn from a straight-only lane of travel when a Jeep Grand Cherokee behind it failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the truck. The truck overturned onto its passenger side as a result of the collision. The driver of the Jeep, a 34-year-old Anna man, suffered serious injuries. The other driver was not injured.
