Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-10 in Sutton County, TX on July 8th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:05 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 61-year-old Lakeview, CA man was headed westbound on I-10 when it collided with a second tractor-trailer moving at a slower rate of speed. The second truck had, according to police, active hazard lights at the time of the crash. The driver of the second truck was evaluated for possible injuries while the Lakeview man suffered serious injuries and reports indicate a Failure to Control Speed charge was recommended and/or issued.
