Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a motorcyclist at I-20 and Lamar St in Sweetwater, TX on August 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:06 p.m. A Chevrolet Cruze operated by a 37-year-old Corpus Christi man passed another vehicle without active headlamps leading to a motorcycle colliding with the Cruze during a turn. The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old Sweetwater man, was seriously injured. The Corpus Christi man was not injured and issued a DWI charge.
