What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-35 and Nogalitos St in San Antonio, TX on February 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:08 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 35-year-old San Antonio man was headed southbound on I-35 S  at an alleged high rate of speed when it lost control and overturned multiple times, rolling into a disabled vehicle parked in a lane of travel. The man was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Investigators allege the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
