Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a man at I-35 in Cooke County, TX on August 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:51 p.m. A Lincoln Navigator operated by a 26-year-0ld Gainesville man was headed south on I-35 when the vehicle veered from the road at a curve, due to alleged driver inattention. The vehicle went into a skid and rolled over into an embankment, seriously injuring the driver. Police issued him a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
