What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-35 in Webb County, TX on May 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 29-year-old San Antonio man was headed southbound on 35 while a Chevrolet Malibu operated by a 29-year-old Edinburg man was headed southbound ahead of the truck. Police say the truck collided with the rear of the Malibu, causing minor injuries to the driver. The San Antonio man was not injured and charged with Failure to Control Speed.
