What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash at I-635 and Coit Rd in Dallas, TX on May 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz operated by a 21-year-old Dallas woman was headed westbound on 635 when it failed to control its speed and collided with a commercial truck operated by a  40-year-old Baton Rouge, LA man. Neither driver was injured, however a 26-year-old male passenger in the Mercedes suffered serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
