What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-635 and Galloway Ave in Mesquite, TX on August 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:59 a.m. A construction traffic control vehicle entered onto I-635 from an on-ramp into the path of a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer collided with the rear of the traffic control vehicle and veered from the road. The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 56-year-old Tyler man, was seriously injured. The other driver was not injured and charged with Unsafe Lane Change.
