What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pair of drivers at State Hwy 199 in Parker County, TX on December 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion headed westbound is accused of losing control in heavy rain conditions before crossing over into an eastbound lane of travel. There, police say the vehicle collided head-on with a Ford Taurus. Reports say the driver of the Taurus, who was not publicly identified, was seriously injured. The other driver and a passenger in one of the vehicles had less seriously injured, according to sources. Police say al injured parties were hospitalized for treatment and had no additional information to share.
