Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 87 in Port Arthur, TX on August 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:43 p.m. A Nissan passenger truck operated by 32-year-old Adrian Torres Garcia was exiting a private drive to go eastbound on Gulfway Dr when it failed to yield and collided with a Hyundai Sonata operated by a 26-year-old Taylor Landing man. He was seriously injured while Garcia was evaluated for possible injuries. Investigators allege that Garcia was potentially under the influence of alcohol.
