What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at State Hwy 94 and Della Russell Rd in Hudson, TX on June 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:19 p.m. A Chevrolet K1500 operated by a 410=-year-old Lufkin man reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with a Honda Accord. After impact, the Chevrolet veered from the road into a bar ditch and crashed into a tree. The driver of the Honda was evaluated for possible injuries. The Lufkin man suffered serious injuries. Police say that he admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the crash.
