What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at TX 94 in Trinity County, TX on January 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:25 p.m. A commercial truck operated by a 27-year-old Trinity man was headed northbound on TX 94 while an Acura TL operated by a 27-year-old Lufkin man was headed southbound. Police say the truck slowed and began to reverse into a driveway, backing into a traffic and causing the Acura to collide with the truck. The Lufkin man suffered minor injuries while the other driver was not injured. Reports show that he was charged with Back So As to Interfere of Without Safety, Display Wrong License Plate and Operation of Vehicle with Expired License Plate.
