What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 290 and FM 1960 in Harris County, TX on January 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. A tractor-trailer  operated by a 68-year-old Stratford, OK man was headed eastbound on US 290 when at some point, the truck collided with a Toyota Corolla operated by a 39-year-old man. Investigators say the drivers offered conflicting stories about the collision bit believe that driver inattention on the part of both drivers played a factor in the crash. The Toyota driver suffered minor injuries.
