Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 79 in Cherokee County, TX on August 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:25 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 44-year-old Palestine man was headed westbound when it veered from its lane and over a private drive. The truck veered into a ditch and the driver suffered serious injuries. Police also charged the driver with Failure to Drive in a Single Lane.
