What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at US 82 and Dowdy Dr in Clay County, TX on January 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:45 p.m. A Dodge 5500 operated by a 21-year-old Wichita Falls man reportedly failed to yield right of way exiting a private drive and collided with a Dodge 2500 operated by a 22-year-old Bailey, CO man. The Bailey man suffered serious injuries after his truck rolled into a cable barrier in the collision. The Wichita Falls man was not injured and records indicate was charged with Failure to Yield Row-Private Drive and Violating Non-CDL Restriction.
