Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-20 in Howard County, TX on October 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:10 p.m. According to investigators, an unknown vehicle read headed westbound on I-20 before liquid cargo spilled from the vehicle onto the road. As a tractor-trailer traveling behind the vehicle attempted to avoid the liquid, to lost control and veered into a guardrail before hitting a cable barrier. The driver, a 51-year-old Carthage, TX man, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Additional information was not available.
