Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at State Hwy 34 in Fannin County, TX on July 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:05 p.m. A Chevrolet van operated by a 27-year-old Wolfe City man reportedly veered from the road and clipped a 35-year-old pedestrian with a side mirror. The van then lost control and veered from the road into a ditch. The pedestrian was seriously injured. The Wolfe City man was charged with Intoxication Assault.
