What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Beechnut St in Houston, TX on October 2nd, 2022. Officials say the crash happened around 12:50 a.m. According to investigators, an Acura RL was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed as an Infiniti G35 attempted to merge into the same lane. The vehicles collided, causing the Acura to lost control and veer onto a sidewalk, striking a pole and overturning. The driver of the Acura suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of Infiniti was questioned and later released. Additional information was not yet available.
