What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-10 Service Rd in Houston, TX on October 14th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu headed westbound on the service road is alleged to have lost control while traveling at a high rate of speed. Reports say the vehicle veered from its lane and hit a utility pole, the impact ejecting an occupant from the vehicle. That individual, only identified as a 39-year-old man, was fatally injured. Reports say a second occupant fled the scene on-foot. Additional inforamtion was not available.
