Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 287 in Wilbarger County, TX on March 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 45-year-old male was headed southeast on US 287 prior to bearing into a shoulder. From there, investigators believe the truck went into a bar ditch where it struck multiple objects, including several trees and a culvert. The impact from the collisions caused the man to suffer fatal injuries.
