What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Washington Ave in Harris County, TX on September 7th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. According to investigators, a southbound Toyota Corolla is alleged to have struck the side of a southbound Acura MDX for unclear reasons. Following this, reports say the Toyota lost control and collided with a nearby concrete barrier. The driver, only identified as a 61-year-old male, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. Reports suggested the possibility the driver may have suffered a medical emergency prior to and/or during the crash. Sources say there were no other reported injuries.
