What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at West Anderson Lane in Austin, TX on February 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra was reportedly still moving when an occupant of the vehicle exited. While not confined, reports allege the occupant, a 26-year-old man who was not publicly identified, either jumped out of or fell out of the vehicle as it was moving. The man was struck by another vehicle in the process, suffering fatal injuries. The vehicle involved did not remain at the scene, police say. There were no other reported injuries.
