What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 121 in Bonham, TX on November 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:14 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang operated by an unnamed 37-year-old Bonham man was headed eastbound on Silo Rd at an alleged high rate of speed before colliding with the rear of a Dodge Ram stopped at a red light. The Ford continued forward, striking another vehicle before coming to rest. The driver of the Dodge, identified as 41-year-old Mandi Hunter, suffered serious injuries. The Bonham man was uninjured and officers recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated and Intoxication Assault charge.
