What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 191 in Midland, TX on May 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:49 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by a40-year-old Mandy Capps was headed westbound on Hwy 191 when it veered left and began heading westbound in a center median. It then struck an embankment and went airborne, ejecting Capps from the vehicle. Capps suffered fatal injuries from the crash at the scene.
